MAP International, a global Christian health and relief organization, wanted to improve fundraising efficiency and connect more personally with active, lapsed, and prospective donors. Arjuna Solutions helped them by introducing ExactAsk, its machine-learning and AI-powered ask amount service, to optimize donation requests across renewal, lapsed, and acquisition campaigns.
Using Arjuna Solutions’ ExactAsk in direct mail and email campaigns, MAP International ran controlled tests and found that personalized ask amounts outperformed standard asks across all three donor segments. In the first 12 months, the organization saw an 18.3% uplift in donations, including revenue increases of 16% for active campaigns, 71% for lapsed campaigns, and 68% for acquisition campaigns, generating $74,164 in incremental donations from a $3,500 investment.
