Littleton Regional Healthcare - Customer Case Study

Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH), a community health system serving northern New Hampshire with a 25‑bed hospital and outpatient and emergency services, faced rising operating costs and persistent network instability. The incumbent vendor could not deliver a cost‑effective, compatible end‑to‑end design, prompting LRH to seek a new solution to lower CAPEX and OPEX while improving network reliability.

LRH implemented a combined Arista/Aruba infrastructure—Arista chassis and 7000‑series switches with EOS in a high‑speed spine/spline core and top‑of‑rack leaves, connected by dark fiber, with Aruba edge switches, 802.11ac wireless and ClearPass for access control. The deployment lowered initial and ongoing costs, delivered a highly stable, easy‑to‑manage network and produced no unscheduled outages over a three‑year period.
