G-Core Labs, a fast-growing CDN provider known for industry-leading price/performance and record-breaking gaming traffic, faced capacity and cost limits with its legacy network as demand and regional expansion accelerated. The company needed to move to multiple 10GE/100GE links, lower price-per-port and per-location costs, and simplify infrastructure to support future growth.

After evaluating options, G-Core Labs deployed Arista (7280/7050/7010 Series and EOS) to migrate core and edge sites to a 100GE-ready design. The upgrade increased port density and bandwidth, allowed pairs of 7280s to replace multiple legacy devices, simplified datacenter design toward almost all 10GE, cut CapEx and OpEx (including cross-connect and WAN costs), and delivered faster support and a clear roadmap—enabling continued global expansion and planned migration away from MPLS.
