Ayalon Insurance Company selects Arista as foundational technology for digital transformation and next generation software defined and big data projects

Ayalon Insurance, one of Israel’s six largest insurance and financial services groups with a network of 1,200 agents and hundreds of thousands of policyholders, faced rapidly growing network traffic driven by big data analytics and plans to move more systems to the cloud. The company needed a higher-performance, flexible core network that could support Hadoop-based analytics, enable future SDN adoption and cloud migration, and remain manageable for a lean IT team.

Ayalon upgraded its primary and secondary data centers to Arista 7050 Series switches, Arista EOS, CloudVision and tap aggregation. The overhaul increased core bandwidth, reduced latency, improved density and power efficiency, simplified management (cutting change times from weeks to days), and centralized operations—creating a more reliable, scalable network ready for SDN and 100Gbps growth while supporting its big data initiatives.
