Transforming Customer Service Training Through Blended Learning – A Partnership Between Arise and a Banking Client

Arise Virtual Solutions partnered with a large banking company’s Enterprise Learning & Talent Development team to improve a new hire blended learning curriculum. The existing 12-week program was too long, inefficient, and lacked a simulated environment, which led to mistakes in live customer interactions and created operational risk.

Arise Virtual Solutions co-created a redesigned blended learning curriculum that cut training time in half and added Sandbox and Mock Call Simulation online learning courses so learners could practice in a realistic environment. The updated program reduced L&D from 10 weeks to 6 weeks, improved learner satisfaction from 60% in 2022 to 86% in 2023, and contributed to a 17% decrease in time to production along with a year-over-year reduction in turnover.
