Putting wind in cruise client’s “sales” with help from the Arise® Platform

Arise Virtual Solutions worked with a large cruise company that had to rebuild its sales operation after the COVID-19 pandemic decimated the cruise industry workforce and forced the company to lay off most of its team. As travel demand returned, the company needed sales-enabled Service Partners quickly to support its inside sales program and book high-value cruise reservations.

Arise Virtual Solutions launched the inside sales program in less than 60 days, including certification, and later reworked the service agent curriculum to better fit group booking calls from travel agents. The updated training was adopted by the client’s internal teams and helped 90-day Service Partners improve their close rates to 28-30%, nearly matching the 30-32% close rate of agents with five years’ experience, while the program grew from 50 FTE at launch to more than 60 FTE by April.
