WAGO GmbH & Co. KG, a global leader in automation and connection technology, sought to digitize its business processes. The challenge was to enable its citizen developers—employees with deep process knowledge but little IT expertise—to build applications safely and effectively. For this digitalization, WAGO partnered with vendor Arineo to utilize the Microsoft Power Platform and establish governance.

Arineo implemented a comprehensive solution centered on knowledge transfer and governance. They established a Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure compliance and security, provided training in both German and English for WAGO's global teams, and offered ad-hoc support. As a result, WAGO's citizen developers can now independently create sophisticated apps and workflows for daily use, significantly accelerating the company's internal digitization with a secure governance framework provided by Arineo.
