HERE Technologies, a Netherlands-based leader in digital mapping and location services for automotive and enterprise customers (including Microsoft, FedEx and Samsung) sought to expand its usage‑based subscription offerings on the HERE Developer Portal. The company needed a monetization platform that could handle a basic subscription fee plus sophisticated hybrid rate schedules, track every API call and overage, send automated usage-threshold notifications, operate in multiple currencies, and eventually automate entitlement and billing across additional sales channels.
