Delta Community Credit Union, a large Atlanta-based credit union serving more than 530,000 members, needed a better way to verify income and employment for mortgage applicants. Its existing VOIE provider couldn’t access some payroll records, and the fallback methods were costly, manual, and slow to integrate with its mortgage point-of-sale system. Delta Community turned to Argyle to improve the borrower experience while ensuring complete and accurate verification data.
Argyle implemented a consumer-permissioned VOIE solution integrated with Delta Community’s Consumer Connect POS and ICE Encompass LOS, giving members an easier way to opt in earlier in the mortgage process. The result was a successful verification rate of more than 70% among opt-ins, improved data integrity, and a smoother member experience. Argyle also helped Delta Community reduce verification costs by $41.45 per borrower, saving more than $10,000 in just four months.
