Bridging the gap between design and execution

AMP needed a way to bridge the gap between its CAD software and ERP system while gaining tighter control over bills of materials, engineering changes, and documentation. To find the right PLM platform, AMP worked with a third-party consultant and selected Arena Solutions for a cloud-based solution that could integrate with existing systems, scale with growth, and reduce IT maintenance overhead.

Arena Solutions implemented its Cloud PLM system and connected it with SOLIDWORKS and NetSuite, creating a central repository for product data and change control. As a result, AMP streamlined the handoff from design to manufacturing, ensured approved and accurate BOMs and SOPs reached production, and reduced late-stage errors; the company described Arena as the keystone linking product information across the business.
