Scaling Quality in Aerospace and Defense Echodyne’s Integration of Arena PLM and Tulip MES

Echodyne, an aerospace and defense company, needed a better way to connect engineering and manufacturing so operators could work from the latest product information and avoid issues with manufacturability, scrap, and rework. To address this challenge, Echodyne worked with Arena Solutions using Arena PLM alongside Tulip MES.

Arena Solutions implemented a pre-built Arena–Tulip connector that pushed BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions directly from Arena PLM into Tulip on the shop floor. This gave Echodyne real-time visibility into quality events, improved traceability and audit readiness, and helped teams catch nonconformances earlier, reducing costly production errors and strengthening quality and compliance.
