BT creates 3,333 generative NFTs with ArDrive

The customer, BT, a Grammy-nominated music composer, needed a platform to support his innovative Orbs Project, a series of generative art and music NFTs. His team required a custom solution to manage, encrypt, and programmatically decrypt thousands of audio and image files while controlling when the data would become publicly accessible. They turned to ArDrive and its ArFS protocol for a solution.

ArDrive implemented its Private Drive feature, allowing BT's team to encrypt all files with AES-256-GCM encryption, with each file receiving its own unique key. This gave them the flexibility to control data access without the risk of losing custom keys. The solution successfully hosted the project's thousands of dependent assets, enabling the creation of the world's first series of fully generative art and music NFTs on the Arweave blockweave. The community reaction to the project has been described as phenomenal.
