Ochsner Health, a major nonprofit health system, faced a challenge with unchecked IT costs and a lack of visibility into its sprawling portfolio of over 1,100 applications. Using the Ardoq platform for business capability modeling and surveys, the team documented and enriched all applications with data on ownership, cost, and business fit. This solution identified over $16 million in savings from application rationalization, funds that were reinvested into AI and cloud modernization initiatives. The work with Ardoq also provided a shared language for making technology decisions and established a crucial framework for governing future AI adoption.
