The customer, Knife River Training Facility, faced the challenge of a cracked and pitted concrete floor substrate that needed extensive resurfacing. With a major event planned, the project had an extremely tight deadline of only eight days to complete 7,000 square feet of work in an operational facility. ARDEX Americas provided the solution using products like ARDEX K 523 self-leveling topping.

The solution involved shot blasting the substrate, repairing cracks with ARDEX ARDIFIX, and priming with ARDEX EP 2000. ARDEX Americas then installed their K 523 self-leveling concrete topping, which was subsequently ground, honed, and sealed. This process was successfully completed within the demanding eight-day timeframe, meeting the tight deadline and leaving the client pleased with the new floor.
