The solution involved the ARDEX Watec Drainage System, a loose-laid mat placed directly over the old stone. Dekton tiles were set using ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR mortar, known for its high freeze-thaw resistance. The installer praised the system's ease of use and performance.
