Capita, the London-based professional services and outsourcing company, needed a faster way to assess a high volume of applicants for its Customer Service role. With 12,000 applications to process, it wanted a more objective hiring method that could help it see beyond the CV while keeping candidates engaged. Arctic Shores provided a behaviour-based, skills-based assessment to support this challenge.

Using Arctic Shores’ candidate assessment platform, Capita was able to evaluate candidates at scale and at pace, with 65% of invited candidates completing the assessment within 24 hours. The approach gave Capita clearer insight into candidate potential, and the experience was well received by candidates: 93% enjoyed the psychometric assessment and 88% said it reflected positively on Capita as an employer. Overall, Arctic Shores helped Capita speed up early-stage screening and improve the candidate experience.
