How the high-flying aerospace business made its hiring more efficient, engaging and remote-ready with our solution

Thales, the aerospace company with more than 80,000 employees worldwide, wanted to improve its candidate selection process and make hiring more efficient and remote-ready. Before working with Arctic Shores, the team relied heavily on manual CV sifting, sent candidates straight to assessment centres, and used a process dominated by aptitude tests that often hurt candidate experience and did not consistently produce hires.

Arctic Shores provided a task-based psychometric assessment to capture candidates’ natural behaviours and strengths, helping Thales progress the right people and improve the quality of candidates reaching assessment centre. The vendor also supported Thales in moving to online assessment centres and virtual group activities, enabling a full switch to remote hiring. The result was stronger conversion rates, with assessment centre attendee-to-hire ratios improving to as good as 2:1 versus a target of 3:1, 100% remote hiring adoption, and 90% of candidates saying they enjoyed the assessment experience.
