SODISA is a 20‑plus year software and management-solutions company with about 30 employees, serving 100+ clients across five countries. When it expanded to offer a backup-and-restore platform for both client-hosted and company-hosted servers, its existing solution became increasingly slow and expensive, creating a need for an automated, easy-to-use cloud-based backup service.

In March 2019 SODISA implemented Arcserve UDP Cloud Direct (a cloud BaaS/DRaaS), eliminating on‑premises hardware and enabling multi-client backups at lower cost. Recovery times fell from about 24 hours to 30–45 minutes for databases and roughly 2 hours for full servers, with no data-loss incidents and streamlined daily backups that support audits and client enrollment.
