Their prior solution backed only virtual workstations and provided no physical-server protection, making it difficult to meet aggressive recovery point and time objectives as customers’ datasets expanded.

MS Geslam implemented Arcserve UDP—a unified, easy-to-use protection platform with strong deduplication—deployed and trained within 90 days. The solution enabled protection for physical and virtual environments, cut one large customer’s storage needs from 115 TB to 9.2 TB (≈92% reduction), and increased backup frequency to more than 20 times per day, delivering significantly improved RPOs/RTOs and faster, more efficient backups.
