Case Study: Manhattan achieves scalable, ransomware‑resilient storage and instant recovery with Arcserve OneXafe

A Arcserve Case Study

Manhattan turns to Arcserve for their managed storage service

Manhattan, a France-based specialist in network and information system security founded in 2001, needed a more reliable managed storage platform after its previous Nexsan solution fell short—particularly on capacity—when renewing hardware for client storage and backup hosting. The company sought a scalable, easy-to-manage alternative to support its service offerings.

Manhattan implemented Arcserve OneXafe, an object-based storage solution using standard NFS/SMB protocols that avoids RAID complexity, lets them add HDDs on the spot, and provides continuous data protection with automatic snapshots every 90 seconds. The result: fast, self-service file recovery (including ransomware scenarios), a plug-and-play install and day-to-day management (installed in about 15 minutes), and the capacity and confidence to expand its M-BackUp service.
