Luxaflex Benelux increases productivity and ensures business continuity with Arcserve UDP

Luxaflex Benelux, a leading European window‑coverings brand, relied on two datacenters to run sales, manufacturing, invoicing and other core systems but faced a risky, slow tape‑based backup process: full weekend backups of about 5 TB could take up to four days, making restores difficult and jeopardizing business continuity.

Following a recommendation from WSB Solutions, Luxaflex implemented Arcserve UDP to back up to disk with nightly cloud replication and deduplication. Weekend backups now complete in 8–10 hours, VM restores take 30–40 minutes, and automated alerts free up about eight IT hours per week—delivering faster recovery, lower storage and operational costs, and improved business continuity with plans to consolidate datacenters.
