Kogo calls on Arcserve to save the day, and the server

Kogo, a 16‑person, award-winning MSP based in Sussex and a ten‑year Arcserve partner, was called on a Sunday when SAV Systems, a manufacturing client with 12 servers and 11.1 TB of data, reported suspicious files. Kogo quickly confirmed a ransomware infection on one server that threatened business continuity for engineers and could have halted operations.

Using Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX and the server’s Dell remote access controller, Kogo mounted the recovery image and restored the affected server remotely, completing the work by 4pm the same day.
