JJO Plc is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of household furniture, employing 400 people across a 1.1 million sq ft site with five factory units. With payments, orders and stock managed continuously, the business was at risk from data loss due to a fragmented, costly and unreliable backup environment and needed a single, unified data protection solution.

JJO deployed Arcserve UDP appliances to protect 68TB of data across servers and roughly 160 PCs, using hourly incremental backups plus weekly, monthly and yearly snapshots and 98% deduplication. Backups became faster and more reliable with a smaller window, restores were significantly quicker in drills (PC in 90 minutes, server in three hours), and IT gained single-dashboard management and lower operating costs—safeguarding productivity and business continuity.
