Jané Group relies on Arcserve Technology to secure the designs of some of the safest and most comfortable pushchairs and baby products

Jané Group, a Barcelona-based maker of baby strollers and childcare products founded in 1932 and selling to more than 50 countries, needed to strengthen data resilience to support growth and protect critical R&D, customer and operational data. With legacy tape backups and a mix of physical and virtual servers, the company sought a modern backup and disaster‑recovery solution plus scale‑out object storage.

Working with Bartrina Consulting, Jané implemented Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX, Arcserve Cloud Services Basic and a OneXafe 4412 appliance, migrating off Symantec tape. The deployment (completed in four months) now stores 64 TB on OneXafe with 10 TB replicated to Arcserve’s datacenter, enabling scalable, faster backups and rapid file/machine recovery to secure R&D and business continuity.
