FELSBERG improves its efficiency and responsiveness with Arcserve UDP

Felsberg is a leading Brazilian law firm with about 190 staff across Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and São Paulo. As its practice and data volumes grew, backups became time‑ and space‑consuming and recovery tests took up to 16 hours, threatening lawyer productivity and prompting the IT team to seek a faster, more efficient disaster‑recovery solution.

Felsberg migrated from Arcserve Backup to Arcserve UDP across roughly 25 physical and virtual servers protecting about 10 TB of data, with implementation support from partner MD SYSTEMS. The new solution cut backup and recovery times by approximately 40% (enabled by source‑data deduplication), reduced tape usage and manual work, improved IT planning and responsiveness, and has led the firm to consider further Arcserve deployments.
