CNS IT Ltd, a UK-based managed services provider (MSP), faced the challenge of needing a reliable and efficient single backup solution to protect diverse customer platforms for its small business clients. Their previous use of multiple solutions was inefficient and complicated meeting regulatory needs like GDPR. They partnered with Arcserve to implement Arcserve Unified Data Protection (UDP) to streamline their data protection services.

Arcserve delivered a comprehensive solution with strong deduplication, compression, and integrated Microsoft 365 protection. The results included protecting around 100 servers, compressing over six petabytes of data to 250 terabytes for cost-effective unlimited retention, and enabling fast recovery. Notably, Arcserve helped CNS reduce nightly incremental backup windows from six or seven hours to under 30 minutes, allowing their engineers to focus more on customer relationships than backup management.
