Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) provides healthcare for roughly 639,000 people across South Wales and employs over 12,000 staff, two-thirds of whom are in direct patient care. Tasked with protecting confidential patient records and keeping clinical and back-office systems highly available, the board faced regulatory and operational pressures compounded by the complexity of multiple backup solutions.
