The Insurance Company, one of India’s oldest private sector insurers, needed to secure a growing IT environment spanning 700+ devices and 100+ privileged identities. With many database servers, applications, and third-party tools in use, the company faced challenges around multiple admin passwords, lack of accountability for privileged and vendor access, and difficulty reviewing administrative activity. ARCON’s Privileged Access Management solution was selected to address these risks and strengthen compliance.

ARCON implemented a two-phase Privileged Access Management program: first, access control settings with approval-based access and ticket-linked logging; second, an enterprise password vault to centralize password management and enforce policy across critical systems. The solution integrated accounts including Windows, Unix, MSQL, SSH, switches, routers, and firewalls, creating a central console for requests, resets, monitoring, and audit trails. As a result, the Insurance Company gained better authentication, stronger auditability, and improved log review for critical sessions, helping meet security and compliance requirements.
