Case Study: TV Aparecida modernizes broadcast workflow with Archiware P5

TV Aparecida modernizes production with Archiware P5 and 192TB shared storage

TV Aparecida, a major television network in Brazil, faced a challenge with its storage and workflow as it grew. Their existing solution was at capacity, and they needed to quickly expand storage to save their editing team time, optimize their workflow, and achieve a higher level of file security for their full HD productions. They turned to Archiware P5 and systems integrator Drivesys for a solution.

The solution implemented by Archiware P5 and Drivesys included a high-performance Facilis Terrablock shared storage system with ATTO Fiber Channel connectivity for editing, integrated with an Archiware P5 Archive system on LTO tape for long-term asset security. This provided the required real-time multiple HD streams, faster collaboration, and a customized archive database. The results included 100% success, exceeding expectations with greater agility in program delivery, reduced archive and restore times, monetization of created assets, and a streamlined workflow.
