Case Study: One Inch Dreams protects and archives world record footage with Archiware P5

One Inch Dreams protects 46TB of footage with Archiware P5

One Inch Dreams, a creative agency specializing in world record slacklining footage, faced the challenge of protecting and managing their extremely valuable and irreplaceable media. Their projects, which often cannot be repeated, required a secure, long-term, and cost-effective archival solution with the flexibility to quickly find and re-use content. They turned to vendor Archiware P5 to implement a data management solution using P5 Archive and P5 Backup.

The solution from Archiware P5 utilized LTO tape written by an mLogic mTape drive for a portable and secure archive, with one set of tapes stored off-site. P5 Archive provided visual browsing with proxies and metadata search to easily locate footage. This created a single source of truth for all media, streamlining productions and ensuring maximum data security for their 46TB dataset. Archiware P5 helped the agency keep their data safe and greatly increased their ability to repurpose and monetize their unique content.
