How TV Aparecida modernized workflow in production and post production with the expertise of Drivesys

TV Aparecida, a major Brazilian television network, needed to modernize its production and post-production workflow as its existing storage reached capacity and could no longer keep up with full HD traffic. The broadcaster also wanted faster editing turnaround, stronger file security, and more efficient asset management, using Archiware P5 as part of its long-term archive environment.

Archiware P5 was implemented alongside shared storage and LTO 6 archiving to give TV Aparecida integrated online and offline media management, custom archive metadata, and quicker search and restore access through a web-based database. The project delivered 192TB of storage, supported multiple full HD streams, improved collaboration across editing stations, reduced archive and restore times, and exceeded expectations by streamlining workflow and helping monetize archived assets.
