Case Study: Deutsches Museum simplifies VMware backup with Archiware P5

Deutsches Museum backs up 68 VMs in 5 minutes with Archiware P5

The Deutsches Museum, one of the world's most important science and technology museums, needed an easy-to-use solution to back up its VMware ESXi environment, which hosted 68 virtual machines running critical internal services. They required a system that could handle both single file and complete VM restores for a wide array of specific and sometimes exotic services.

The museum implemented Archiware Pure, chosen for its simple user interface and ease of installation. The solution provided a central interface to manage all backups, saving significant time and effort for the staff. Archiware Pure delivered the required solid backup security with a minimal investment of time, successfully backing up the environment which included five ESXi hosts.
