WorkSafeBC, the largest producer of health and safety media in the world, needed a simpler way for its A/V team to archive and restore growing volumes of video projects and camera media. With Archiware P5, the editors wanted to reduce reliance on IT, replace manual Blu-ray burning, and keep pace with large modern camera cards while maintaining a reliable 3-copy storage strategy.

Archiware P5 solved this by combining P5 Backup and P5 Archive with the P5 Archive App and watch-folder automation. WorkSafeBC now backs up to RAID and archives to LTO tape, while editors can archive or restore projects directly from the Mac Finder with a right click. The result was major time savings, automated daily archiving, and a straightforward restore workflow, supporting more than 150 videos a year and helping the team manage camera archives without intervention.
