TD Bank migrates 440 TB and 2.2 billion emails with Archive360

TD Bank was migrating its massive hosted Symantec Enterprise Vault email archive to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud platform to reduce costs and improve the user experience. The project was initially deemed high-risk, and two other vendors were dismissed due to performance issues, cost, and complexity. The bank selected Archive360 and its FastCollect for Archives solution to handle the complex, legally risky migration.

Archive360 successfully migrated 440 TB of data, which included 2.2 billion messages and 97,000 mailboxes, with zero end-user disruption. The solution required only two servers and bypassed slow APIs by directly accessing the archived data. As a result of the migration, TD Bank now saves millions of dollars annually and has significantly improved end-user satisfaction.
