State of North Carolina migrates 330 TB to Microsoft 365 with Archive360

The State of North Carolina faced the challenge of migrating a massive 330 TB on-premise Mimosa NearPoint email archive to Microsoft Office 365. This required safely moving data from 94,621 mailboxes while retaining all content for compliance and legal discovery, including for inactive users.

Archive360 implemented its Archive2-Anywhere Mimosa NearPoint edition to perform the migration. The solution successfully transferred an average of over one terabyte of data per day, with a peak of 1.8 terabytes, moving all archive content into Office 365 Personal Archives while preserving mailbox fidelity and context. Archive360's solution enabled the state to efficiently manage inactive mailboxes and prepare all data for compliance and eDiscovery in the new cloud environment.
