Loyola University Maryland migrates 4 TB of Enterprise Vault archive data with Archive360

Loyola University Maryland faced the challenge of migrating 4 TB of archived email data from an outdated, slow Enterprise Vault server running on a 2003 x86 system to Microsoft Office 365. The poor health of the legacy server and the need to process data in very small batches threatened to significantly extend the project timeline. To address this, their partner NetMail introduced them to Archive360 and its FastCollect for Archives solution.

Archive360's solution directly extracted the data without relying on the health of the original Enterprise Vault by using a new, more powerful server. This allowed them to rehydrate stubbed emails into Exchange on the fly for a seamless user experience. The Archive360 FastCollect for Archives solution performed very well, enabling the university to achieve its migration goals within a good timeframe. The system required no administration work once set up and provided useful, user-friendly reports.
