Large Regional American Utility Power Company engaged Archive360 to migrate email from its legacy AXS-One archive to Veritas Enterprise Vault. The legal department needed data on legal hold moved in a legally defensible manner, and the archive contained both Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange data that had to be preserved in original binary format.

Archive360 used a two-step process to extract custodians on legal hold with metadata and file format preserved, then ingest the data directly into Enterprise Vault. The project migrated more than 120 million Notes and Exchange messages with a 99.5% success rate, with less than 0.005% exceptions, and reached extraction rates of about 2 million messages per day and ingestion rates of about 1.5 million messages per day.
