County Government had used NearPoint for email archiving for more than 10 years, but a planned move to Office 365 made it no longer viable. With about 2,400 employee mailboxes on an 18-month litigation hold, the county needed a reliable way to extract the data from NearPoint and export it to Office 365. It turned to Archive360 and its Archive2Anywhere (A2A) email migration tool.

With help from Archive360 technical staff, the county installed A2A quickly and began exporting mailboxes to Office 365. It migrated active mailboxes with PowerShell and Office 365 tools, then moved archive data into Office 365 archive mailboxes using A2A, with jobs running for several days without customer impact. The county said Archive360 support was responsive and consistent, and that A2A’s logging and reporting helped it meet its migration schedule target and complete weekend batch jobs with little or no intervention.
