Cloud Sherpas was working on a Google Vault migration for a large US-based retailer and needed to move data from a legacy archive system. The project ran into problems with the existing extraction tool, which required 15 servers, a complex data configuration, and lengthy mailbox scans that were expected to take several months before extraction could begin.

Cloud Sherpas worked with Bishop Technologies and Archive360, which recommended Archive 2-Anywhere™ as an alternative. After piloting the tool, Cloud Sherpas completed the extraction on schedule, moved from extracting a couple gigs of data each day to 1.5 terabytes a day, and avoided the slow pre-scan process that had delayed the original plan.
