City of Ormond Beach migrates 400 GB of email archives with Archive360

The City of Ormond Beach, FL, faced the challenge of replacing its discontinued 14-year-old EmailXtender archiving system. The city needed to export its legacy data but found its existing tools were not functioning properly. They selected the Barracuda Message Archiver as a new solution and turned to vendor Archive360 for assistance with the complex data migration.

Archive360 implemented its Archive2Anywhere (A2A) software to successfully export the data, even customizing it to work with the city's very old SQL 2000 server. The solution worked flawlessly, resulting in the migration of 400 GB of data, comprising approximately 4 million messages, into the new Barracuda Message Archiver with no critical errors.
