They partnered with the vendor, Archipelago, to address this using its Risk Data Platform.

Archipelago's solution enabled Alexandria to source, enrich, and securely share a richer set of verifiable property data with insurers via the platform. This data-driven approach provided credible insights that reduced modeled results and improved the underwriting process. The measurable impact included enriching 83% of their earthquake-exposed total insured value (TIV), having over 50% of portfolio TIV with developed lineage on the platform, and enabling 38 insurers to access their data securely, leading to a positive outcome on their insurance renewal.
