A ARCHIBUS Case Study
The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTCC) at Wimbledon manages 163,000 m² of facilities, including Centre Court and dozens of courts, and hosts over 400,000 visitors during The Championships. The club faced the challenge of maintaining high service and safety standards across aging and new buildings, coordinating hundreds of contractors and extensive media operations, and supporting a multi‑million pound Development Plan — all under intense public and media scrutiny during the two‑week event.
To meet these demands the Club implemented ARCHIBUS (space, asset/furniture, building operations and telecommunications modules) integrated with AutoCAD and other systems. The solution enabled asset tracking, PAT testing, planned preventive maintenance, compliance reporting and “what‑if” space planning, saving routine management time, improving maintenance efficiency and statutory compliance, streamlining cost recharging, and providing the real‑time information needed to keep operations running smoothly during the Championships and support long‑term development.
