A ARCHIBUS Case Study
Progressive Casualty Insurance, a Mayfield, Ohio–based firm with 29,000 employees and 418 locations, sought to replace four homegrown systems and a third‑party moves platform with ARCHIBUS. The first implementation failed to meet needs because it took a one‑size‑fits‑all approach, lacked customization, suffered from poor and mistimed communication, and didn’t engage stakeholders or provide effective training, resulting in missed deadlines and low adoption.
In a 2015 reimplementation, the real estate team led a collaborative, flexible approach: they engaged stakeholders across the company, customized reports and workflows, held regular check‑ins and demos, and trained local experts who then supported remote users and a help site. The project delivered on time and on budget, earned unsolicited positive feedback, increased tracked tickets from 15,000 to 70,000 annually, reduced SLAs from 100,000 to 2,000, and improved communication, reporting, and work‑order tracking.
