Pirelli Improves Property Management for Italian Government with ARCHIBUS

Pirelli Real Estate, a division of the Italian conglomerate with a €15.3 billion portfolio across Italy, Poland and Germany, won €260 million in government contracts to manage 3,000 buildings (5,000,000 sq. m.) and oversee 4,500 service contracts. To meet the scale and complexity of these public-sector accounts, Pirelli launched a business process reengineering effort to integrate contract, space and maintenance management and to gain better visibility into costs, revenues and service performance.

Working with partner eFM, Pirelli implemented ARCHIBUS Project Management, Space Management and Building Operations Management, integrating the platform with its financial systems, Outlook, mobile SMS and Autodesk DWF. The rollout included 50+ training courses for 450+ users and automated workflows for 10,000 annual work requests, 300,000 preventive maintenance orders and KPI tracking—resulting in centralized information, improved maintenance reliability, real-time performance monitoring, reduced equipment failures and better customer service while containing costs.
