Case Study: Melbourne Cricket Club achieves streamlined asset management and faster work-order resolution with ARCHIBUS

A ARCHIBUS Case Study

Preview of the Melbourne Cricket Club Case Study

ARCHIBUS Solutions Go to Bat for the Melbourne Cricket Club

Founded in 1838, the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) manages the billion-dollar Melbourne Cricket Ground and a wide range of sporting facilities for over 97,000 members and nearly 100 event days a year. Facing fragmented, paper- and spreadsheet-based processes that could not support lifecycle management across 2.1 million sq ft of buildings, land and equipment, the MCC sought an integrated asset management solution.

Working with ICAD Consultants, the MCC implemented ARCHIBUS modules (Real Property & Lease, Space, Condition Assessment, Building Operations and Web Central) and integrated with SunSystems financials and vendor purchase-order systems. The result was a single asset register, accurate lifecycle costing and much faster work-order processing—near-doubling recorded requests, improving contractor and service-center efficiency, delivering measurable savings and a better experience for members, patrons and event promoters.
