Archetype Consulting helped Parkland Corporation, one of America’s fastest-growing independent suppliers and marketers of fuel, which had a painfully manual and time-consuming process using Excel to match bank transactions against its general ledger. The company was looking to move off Excel to improve the integrity of its financial results.

Archetype implemented OneStream's Transaction Match and Account Reconciliation modules for Parkland’s bank accounts, developing customized dashboards and direct bank connects. This implementation by Archetype resulted in the removal of Excel, accelerated account reconciliations and the close process, improved the accuracy of financial statements by reducing write-offs, and reduced data latency and costs with a unified platform.
