Tesla Supplier Standardizes and Automates Logistics Through ArcESB AS2

Tesla needed a way to standardize and automate EDI-based logistics with a critical supplier whose ERP system spoke a different language. To support secure, reliable exchange of purchase orders, shipping notices, invoices, and schedules over AS2, Tesla’s supplier turned to ArcESB and its EDI integration capabilities.

Using ArcESB, the supplier implemented secure AS2 messaging with X12-to-XML translation, digital certificates, S/MIME encryption, signatures, and MDN receipts. The result was a fully integrated, automated EDI process that eliminated manual data entry, reduced errors and paperwork, improved speed and reliability, and lowered costs and waste for both trading partners.
