Michelin Steers Partner Fleet to Central, Streamlined Data Store
Michelin, a global tire manufacturer, faced the challenge of consolidating inventory, shipping, and trend data from a diverse set of partner fleet databases into a single PostgreSQL data store while accommodating partners’ existing IT systems. To meet this need, Michelin selected ArcESB’s lightweight integration platform and connectors to standardize and route partner data into its centralized PostgreSQL environment.
ArcESB implemented broad-spectrum, scalable connectors and provided hands-on support (including on-site training by the ArcESB Support Team) to rapidly onboard partners and feed Michelin’s production PostgreSQL database for BI and analytics. The solution streamlined partner fleet data management, enabled faster access for analytics, and is scaling with Michelin—adding 25 more ArcESB Connectors and positioned to handle millions of transactions.
