Intuit streamlines clean energy procurement with RPD Energy, now part of Arcadia

Intuit, a global leader in financial management software, wanted to expand its renewable energy portfolio beyond an existing on-site solar installation and meet carbon reduction goals without sacrificing cost efficiency or reliability. Arcadia, through its RPD Energy service, helped Intuit pursue a broader clean energy strategy for its Mountain View headquarters in California.

Arcadia identified a local wind project, secured California Category 1 RECs bundled with generation, and arranged balancing and scheduling through a retail electric supplier under a standard retail contract structure. The result was a streamlined, competitively priced solution that delivered reliable locally sourced clean power, reduced procurement complexity and risk, and supported Intuit’s sustainability goals while complementing its on-site solar.
