Enphase Energy, a global energy technology company, wanted to scale solar proposal creation for its Solargraf software across North America while keeping outputs accurate. Constantly changing utility tariffs and solar compensation rules made it difficult to build and maintain reliable in-house bill simulation tools, so Enphase turned to Arcadia for help with automated energy data access and tariff modeling.
Using Arcadia’s Switch product, Enphase embedded on-demand bill simulations and tariff data directly into Solargraf, allowing users to enter an address and generate accurate solar proposals quickly. The result was faster proposal delivery in under two minutes, improved accuracy in savings calculations, and lower soft costs by avoiding the need for a dedicated internal tariff-tracking team, while Arcadia’s database updates more than 50,000 times per month across 30,000 tariffs and riders.
